They had three children, two sons and one daughter. Their second son, Burton "Babe" W. Paullin was b. 1917 and d. 3/2/2005 and he m. Living Johnson.

Obit for Burton W. "Babe" Paullin, published on March 4, 2005. Burton "Babe" Paullin, 88, went home to be with his Lord on March 2, 2005 at USA Healthcare in Urbandale after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Babe was a retired rural mail carrier and a cabinet maker. He was a WWII veteran and a member of the First Congregational Church in Stuart. He was a loving husband and kind father and will be missed by his wife, Audrey, who resides at USA Healthcare in Urbandale; a daughter Nancy Paullin of Urbandale; a son, Robert (Jean) Paullin of Grand Rapids Michigan; a brother, Gerald Paullin of Ankeny; and two grandchildren, Lisa (Mark) Hopkins of Lafayette, Indiana, and Laura Paullin of East Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was preceded in death by this parents, John and Grace and a sister, Marie. Private services for the family will be handled by Ruppert Funeral Home in Stuart. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Congregational Church in Stuart or the Alzheimer's Association.
