Perhaps the Elizabeth Beal who m. 1785 John Cookson, but no death or probate of John Cookson found, nor any mention in Wyman's Charlestown Genealogies, or any other reason to connect that Elizabeth to Elizabeth Cookson of Charlestown. So more research needed. Marriage in Newton (home of husband, not wife) suggests she was a widow, young girls usually marrying in their hometown.
