    [Son John [b. 27 Nov 1777, m. Lydia Comer] settles in Wayne Township. He is from South Carolina, marries in the Carolinas. Moves 1 mile northeast of Richmond in 1807-8. Dies 1 Sep 1859. Member of the Society of Friends, "and was one of those ... who were imprisoned in the jail at Salisbury for non-compliance with the military law during the war of 1812."
