  4. by Rev. D.M. Rumberger. Hannah was previously married to a "Henry Lanich" her maiden name unknown. There was one known child to George and Hannah, a son, Adam (listed as "Ada" in census). The Sugar Valley Circuit of the Evangelical Association (as it was then called) seems to have been organized in 1872. Preaching was done in the German language. Included in the circuit or charge was the church which was built on the hill, the site being the present Fairview Cemetery, on the east side of Loganton; and was served by Z. Hornberger in the year 1869
