WeRelate:Suggestions/Mobile site rendering

Watchers

WR is not an easy view on mobile devices, which is now a large segment of internet browsing. Would it be possible (though I am no expert and do not know what would be involved) for WR to detect what kind of device the user is using, and render the site in either regular desktop mode (what we have now) and a scaled up mobile mode? Many sites now do this automatically. Daniel Maxwell 23:12, 8 November 2015 (UTC)

It's not as easy as it should be. What is the worst offender (the worst experience on a mobile device)?--Dallan 05:34, 10 November 2015 (UTC)
Sadly, it is all bad. I had not thought about editing on a mobile device (seems like it would be more trouble than it is worth) but viewing person pages are absolutely tiny and unreadable. This occasionally became an issue for me, for example, at work I would get notified of a person page being changed, and in checking it out on my phone I would have to zoom in to a huge degree to even tell what the changes were at all. So in short, the person pages are probably the worst and most immediate offender. Daniel Maxwell 08:04, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
