LAYMAN-MOOMAW 20090714.ged Ready for Review [23 August 2009]

Welcome to WeRelate! WeRelate is different from most family tree websites. By contributing to WeRelate you are helping to create Pando for genealogy, a free, unified family tree that combines the best information from all contributors.

Now that you have uploaded your GEDCOM, your next step is to preview what your pages will look like and combine (merge) people in your GEDCOM with matching people already on WeRelate. When you have finished your review, your GEDCOM will be imported. Click here to review your GEDCOM.

Hello. I am checking to see how things are going with your gedcom file uploaded July 14. Are you having problems that you need help with? Are you still intending to import it? Please let us know your status.
To recap, you must resolve every item on the Family Match tab, marking whether this is the same family or not. You must also review each item on the warning tab. You can decide whether to make changes or not. It appears that you have duplicate families within your file. You can resolve this by marking one them Exclude (check the box on the Person and Family tabs) or by returning a day after your file is processed. On the MyRelate menu, there is an item "Show Duplicates". These are families that the system has flagged as possibly duplicating other pages in the database. It works very similar to the Family Match, but may be a bit easier to use. Regards, --Judy (jlanoux) 16:27, 23 August 2009 (EDT) (WeRelate volunteer)

GEDCOM update [7 October 2009]

Hello,

I am Debbie Freeman, one of the volunteer administrators. Judy asked for some help with your GEDCOM. I wanted to give you an update. I started this weekend working on the small edits (Virginia became VA for example) for your GEDCOM. Most of which are NOT caused by YOU. You have a very nice GEDCOM. Please post a message on my page if you have any questions by clicking on the blue DFree. I will keep you in the loop. Debbie Freeman --DFree 22:37, 6 October 2009 (EDT)
