Hi [26 November 2015]

I was just wondering, after spending many a frustrating evening and what feels like years of searching for my past family members. Is it possible to put this information up online? I would dread to think that someone would have to go to all this trouble to try and find it again. Unless of course they enjoy sorting out old documents and spending many a late night on the computer, of course I would give copies to family that I have contact with, but there are so many that I don't know. All the information I have gained came at no cost to me, just time, so I'm not really prepared to pay to pass on this info to others. Any suggestions would be great thank you. I could save some one a life time of searching :)--Page82 03:53, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

Bebb, Holloway, Tudor, families Shropshire Mid wales UK [27 December 2015]

Bebb family Tree 1703 bebb born 1703. David born 1819 died 1891 David's first wife Martha Bebb who died 1852 Castle Caerinion. 1861 David Bebb married his second wife Jane Higgins it appears that this was his first Niece that he married or from records it shows that he married his first child from his first wife's marriage? which ever way he married his first child or his first Niece after the passing of his first wife. David went on to have 10 or 12 children. On the passing of David Bebb he left in his will all his money to his second wife who he describes as being his Niece and the biological mother to his 10 children. Richard Bebb. David's son married Lillian Holloway many years later. At this point the inter marital relationships are still continuing with Richards brother also marrying Holloway members, the holloway children and the Bebb children spent childhood times together growing up. Richard Bebb b 1862 d.1951. with Lillian Holloway had 11 children Seibert. Dona Eric Hector Maude Olga gordon Iris Sybil Rupert Dora married colin Tudor who farmed at Chatford Stapleton Shropshire. Hector Tudor Dora's brother married Hilda Tudor of Polemere farm Yockelton. It appears that there were many links in the Tudor, Bebb and Holloway family's marrying each other to keep the farming families together. Such as above. Hector Bebb's wife Hilda Tudor's father was a Alderman at Shropshire County Council he was given farming rights in the Shropshire area to keep the extended family in farming. Joseph Tudors first wife died young, Joseph Tudor then had relations with the family member who was the house keeper . It would appear that this trend continued. on and into the Griffith farming family and the Jones. There appears to be a split in the Tudor farming families of Shropshire, But i can not work that out any help would be appreciated. Also with the Bebb farming family there appears to be two Hilda (tudor) Bebb's one who resided at Polemere Farm Yockelton same address at Hilley farm Nesscliffe where it would appear she lived till the passing of Joseph Tudor Polemere farm, then left Hilley farm to Joy Jones nee Bebb. The surprise is there appears to be another Hilda Bebb at Hanwood also farming stock. Also more Bebb's and Tudors with the same names in Shrewsbury. Any help would be wonderful,I'm sure they were not still continuing David Bebb's trend in marrying into the same families as David'Bebb did in marrying his first child after the passing of his David's wife and then the passing of his daugters first husband ! they then had 10 or 12 children I was not sure if it was illegal to marry family members back then, but after much searching it appears it was seen as the wrong thing to do and very illegal back then, in real terms it was not that long ago? John Bebb comes up in searches and it was a trend to carry past family members names on as apposed to today. Hector John Bebb carried this Jonhn name on of polemere farm Nr yockleton. The trend in the farming back then was helped by the Bebb's marrying into other local farming families in the area to increase the wealth of these families. an example of this was marrying into the Griffiths family who held positions in farming at high levels as did Joseph Tudor Hilda Bebb's father an alderman on Shropshire County Council who was able to acquire leases and farming rights in the Shropshire Montgomery areas to benfit the family familys. You will still see this trend continuing today. but you would hope that marrying family members to keep the farm in the same families as stopped ? There was a strong band of Bebb's in Ludlow before coming into the Shropshire Montgomery areas marriage of Ann Bebb in Ludlow march 24 1568. also Elizabeth Bebb and Richard Bebb in Clungunford Shropshire in 1561 and 1565 again you will see the use of the same names for example Hector Bebb's child. You will also see a lot of Bebb activity in Castle Caerinion nr Welshpool and Newtown on refrence Thomas Bebb Montgomery 1554 farming, again these names have continued over time with his wife being Margaret which was to be continued in use for years following her passing. The Bebb's of Wales and Shropshire worked closely together for long periods so I'm wondering like with David Bebb marrying his family member did this continue further back than this. obviously from the Tudor side that was also not uncommon for them to marry each other but this was just a farming relationship. Any information relating to these families would be greatly appreciated as i'm trying to put my tree together. Even if it does tend to have some strange marriage arrangements in the past. > --Page82 00:43, 26 December 2015 (UTC)
