Person and Family page titles [2 August 2007]

Hello, and welcome to WeRelate!

I'm Mary, one of the administrators who patrols new pages. I noticed that one of your Person pages included a middle name, and I renamed that page with just her first and last names. That is the convention we have adopted for the titles of Person and Family pages. The full name always appears on the page as you have entered or uploaded it, so others can search for it either way. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Francois Pecot and Marie Prejean (1) [15 January 2009]

Hello, I noticed that you made edits to Family:Francois Pecot and Marie Prejean (1). It appears as though Person:Marie Prejean (2) used to be a spouse on that page, and that has been replaced with Person:Marie_Rosalie_Prejean_(2). Are these Marie pages the same person, and if so, should they be merged? I will say that I am not familiar with this family. I'm watching the page due to Acadia merges I was doing.--Jennifer (JBS66) 06:22, 15 January 2009 (EST)

First Families of Louisiana [3 October 2009]

I've been adding several hundred pages to WeRelate for the lineages certified by the Louisiana Genealogical & Historical Society's First Families of Louisiana program, and I happened to find your page for Jerome Emmanuel D'Aunoy. You might want to revisit that page and trace the line back, if you haven't already worked on it. The colonial ancestor in this case (or, at least, the one that was filed on) is Jean-Baptiste Norra -- a Sardinian, whose wife was an Isleño. Jerome's D'Aunoy grandfather was Coroner of Orleans Parish. Interesting family! --Mike (mksmith) 18:12, 3 October 2009 (EDT)
