John and Roger Keys [29 July 2018]

Hello, I received your message on my Talk Page regarding Roger and John Keys of Augusta County, VA. I started the The Early Settlers of Augusta County, Virginia project a few years ago with Quolla6, another researcher, and we have been researching and adding records to the pages of many of the Early Settlers of the area. I'm guessing that the parents of Roger and John Keys likely did not migrate to the American Colonies, so proving their parentage will likely be problematic at best. As far as the relationship with the McDowell's, I don't have any information other than what we've added to the person pages, so the exact relationship with them will have to wait until definitive records can be located.
