• view related pages not in your tree -- If you matched families in your GEDCOM to existing families, find out which people you are now related to that you can add to your tree (takes awhile to display for large trees).
• view a searchable list of the pages in your tree -- The searchable list will be available about an hour after your tree has been imported.

‎RichardTrethewey_2.ged [30 January 2014]

Unfortunately, this file cannot be imported into WeRelate in its current condition. On a relatively quick examination, there are at least two major errors in this GEDCOM (See Error Notes below) which must be repaired in your personal GEDCOM database. Please, remove this GEDCOM from WeRelate (click "Remove this GEDCOM" from the Overview tab), repair the following errors in your personal database, and upload a new GEDCOM file if you wish to import these individuals. As WeRelate is a single, shared database with a single web page created for each person and each family, we request, as a courtesy to other users, that problems be fixed prior to importing your file.

Error Notes

1) William Trethewey, b. 1779 d. 14 Sep 1788, St Stephen-in-Brannel, Cornwall England - He is connected with two separate sets of parents, one of which is more likely than the other. One of the parents must be removed for this file to be imported, because the WeRelate review process is unable to handle duplicate parents at this time.

2) There is an Unknown individual (10000 gedcom) who is connected with 21 different husbands/wives. The most likely issue behind this error is either in your GEDCOM program and how it produces GEDCOMs, or the importation process between your GEDCOM file and the WeRelate review process. Which of the two processes is more to blame is difficult to determine from this end, but we cannot import this file with this type of error in place. You may be able to produce a list of the affected individuals, which would help you to determine how to repair this issue on your end.
