Welcome to WeRelate! WeRelate is different from most family tree websites. By contributing to WeRelate you are helping to create Pando for genealogy, a free, unified family tree that combines the best information from all contributors.

Now that you have uploaded your GEDCOM, your next step is to preview what your pages will look like and combine (merge) people in your GEDCOM with matching people already on WeRelate. When you have finished your review, your GEDCOM will be imported. Click here to review your GEDCOM.

Hi and welcome to WeRelate. I noticed that you haven't handled your recent gedcom upload file so I have processed it for you. There are a few things you may want to note for your next upload. After your gedcom is accepted you will get a notice here that it is ready for review. You need to press the link in that message to go through the Gedcom Review process. This will let you preview the pages that are to be created and edit them to correct any problems. There is a warning tab to show potential data errors. These can usually be fixed right from within review by editing the pages. You must also handle any items on the Family Match page. In the wiki we strive to have only one page for each person and each family. You also have an opportunity to match your sources and places to wiki pages that already exist, but this is optional. The pages from your GEDCOM have been generated successfully. You may now:

• launch the Family Tree Explorer to navigate your tree
• view your network -- If you matched families in your GEDCOM to existing families, find out to which other WeRelate users you are related.
• view a searchable list of the pages in your tree -- The searchable list will be available about an hour after your tree has been imported.
