Vital Data [18 June 2009]

Hi, I noticed your pages didn't have vital data on them. You can add dates, biographies, photos, scans of documents, notes, etc., by clicking on the edit link at the top of each page. They system will automatically format the page for you.  :) --sq 11:42, 18 June 2009 (EDT)

Welcome to WeRelate! WeRelate is different from most family tree websites. By contributing to WeRelate you are helping to create Pando for genealogy, a free, unified family tree that combines the best information from all contributors.

Now that you have uploaded your GEDCOM, your next step is to preview what your pages will look like and combine (merge) people in your GEDCOM with matching people already on WeRelate. When you have finished your review, your GEDCOM will be imported. Click here to review your GEDCOM.

GEDCOM [21 June 2009]

Hello,

Welcome to WeRelate. It look like it loaded well. It is a little different on WeRelate. Each ancestor has their own webpage. On you User Page on the top left you will see view, or launch. you can click on view and it will give you a list of the webpages on WeRelate you created, or merged from your GEDCOM. Or you can click launch and a mini split screen will appear.

Hope this makes sense. I am probably not explaining it very well. There should be a video, or text tutorial as well on the website.

John Alexander Walker added to John Walker of Wigdon? [26 June 2009]

I noticed that you added John Alexander Walker as an "alternate husband" to the page of John WalkerI, otherwise known as John Walker of Wigdon. This is NOT the same John Walker (of Wigdon, Scotland) that married Jane McKnight. Please take a look at this, because it is highly doubtful that John Walker, husband of Jane McKnight is 27 years younger than Jane..... I have removed John Alexander Walker as an alternate, since he obviously does not belong on this page.

This family has been well-documented in "The Descendants of John Walker of Wigdon, Scotland", by Emma Siggins White. I suggest you refer to this source before you make any changes to this family.

Best regards,

Jim:)

Gilda & Tarnow in USA [14 December 2011]

I am a relative of Emelie Gilda Tarnow. My grandmother was her daughter Emma.

You have put a lot of work into putting the family on the We Relate site.

Are you connected to the family in any way?

Thanks
