Maiden name in surname field [4 January 2014]

Hi and welcome to WeRelate. I noticed a few of your recent edits for Person:Esther Shemitz (2). Please note the genealogical convention (as well as WeRelate's convention) is to include a woman's maiden name in the surname field as well as the page title. The Family page reflects both the husband's name as well as the wife's maiden name. Also, please note the Christening fields are meant to include date and place - not name. The name would be included in the name section at the top of the page. If you have any questions, you can post here or on our Support page. Thank you, --Jennifer (JBS66) 19:41, 4 January 2014 (UTC)

Would you mind making the changes, so I can see what they should be? This is my first time...--Aboudaqn 20:24, 4 January 2014 (UTC)

Sure, here you go: this page shows the edit screen with Esther's maiden name in the surname field. Also, I moved her full name away from the christening Place field up to that same name section. --Jennifer (JBS66) 20:28, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
