I have been collecting family information on the Jones, Givens, Thomson, and Mogee families for over thirty years and would be interested in sharing my information with others interested in these families. The first Jones in my line was Griffith Jones who came to Springfield, Massachusetts around 1745. His descendants were in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Ontario, and Illinois. The Givens family came from Ulster, Ireland to Staunton, Virginia around 1740 and migrated westward from Virginia and North Carolina to Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois. The Mogees came from Northern Ireland and the Thomsons came from Ayr, Scotland.
