Married first Martha Turner, 1858 in DeKalb Co TN, no children. Was a Union Prisoner from 1863 to 1865, interned at Camp Morton, IN. Married second, Nancy Frances Jennings in Wilson Co TN in Dec of 1865. Five sons, Landon, Jr; Thomas Jefferson, Thera Adolphus, Newburn Alexander and Rial Claiborn. Moved to TX about 1877. Finally settled in Parker Co TX. Died there in 1908.
He was born in TN in 1831. In the 1850 census he is in DeKalb Co TN listed in the household of Elizabeth Woodsides. Also listed are the children, Matilda, Paralie, and Montillion Richardson.
He had some connection to Thomas Henry Woodford Richardson, also of DeKalb Co TN. He was born 1821 and died 1903 in DeKalb Co TN. He may possibly have been a half brother.
Landon and Nancy Frances Richardson were my great grand parents. Their son Thera Adolphus was my grand father.
I would love to know the parents of Landon Britt Richardson.
