My primary research is in family surnames; Scoggins and Mckenzie. Scoggins originate in Suffolk County England. Mckenzie originate in Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland. I have extended the Scoggins data to cousins. Very few of Scoggins in the database came to America. My ancestor, William Bye Scogings, joined the Mormon church in 1853 and came to Utah in 1859

In 2014 I have changed my focus to Switzerland. Bern Canton parish registers are online. Two thirds of my Swiss ancestry originates in Bern Canton, so I have been able to research online.
