Miss Margaret Loretta M. Sweeney, sister of Mrs. Daniel Sheehan of Red Bank, has been very sick in her home at County Galway, Ireland, where she [was] at the head of Mount Bellew Hospital. Lady Bellew had Miss Sweeney taken [to] Bellew castle, where she remained during her sickness. A considerable number of residents of this locality came from Couny Galway, and Miss Sweeney and her sister, Mrs. Sheehan, were born on the Bellew estates.

Mrs. Nellie Reddington, widow of Jon Reddington of New Monmouth, died Saturday night . . . She was 67 years old. Services ... at St. Mary's Church New Monmouth, burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Leaves three sons, Frank, Timothy, Harry of New Monmouth; three sisters: Mrs. Annie Mead of Headden's Corner; Mrs. Ellen Shoemaker & Mrs. Catherine Hughes of Long Branch. Mrs. Reddington went to New Monmouth about fifty years ago from County Galway, Ireland. She was married about two years later.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ford and daughter of Freehold started last Wednesday for a trip to Ireland. They will visit relatives in Loughrea, county of Galway, which was Mr. Ford's native town. . . . Mr. Ford came to America when a boy, and worked for Sheriff Ssamuel Conover 42 years ago on what is now known as the A.C. Fisher farm. his employer induced him to learn the trade of a blacksmith, at which he has been very successful.

Mrs. Bridget Corbett of Englishtown died Monday of last week at 96 years. She was born in Dublin, Ireland, and came to this country in a sailing vessel when she was 24 years old. She is survived by a daughter.
