Watchers

Defect 1

Savage apparently relies on Goodwin in asserting that Elizabeth is a daughter of Thomas Edwards. In "Corrections of Printed Authorities" (The American Genealogist, 9:45), on page 54 Jacobus argues that Edwards must have been born in 1621, which is too young to be the father of a woman who married and had her own child by 1645. Jacobus further argues that the probate record of Edwards reflects only a single daughter with issue, who was named Ruth.
