Defect 1 [4 November 2015]

There is no son John. The death date given 29 Nov 1654 is one of two competing interpretations (the other being 29 Nov 1653) of the Plymouth Colony Records for the father, not a son. Since the granting of administration on the father's estate is dated 7 Mar 1653-4, a death 29 Nov 1654 could be interpreted as a son, but there is no evidence of a son named John so it is more likely the result of a misleading record (PCT 8:16). See Anderson's Great Migration Begins, or NEHGR 116:188-89. --Jrich 20:38, 4 November 2015 (UTC)
