NICKERSON, WILLIAM, Boston, weaver, from Norwich, Eng. aged 33,
with w. Ann, eldest d. of Nicholas Busby (who came in the same ship),
aged 28, and four, ch. Nicholas, Robert, Elizabeth and Ann, emb. at Ipswich,
or Yarmouth, 8 Apr. 1637, arr. 20 June at Boston, proceed. with
f.-in-law, I presume, first to Watertown, where he might be allow. to
join the ch. for in Boston there exist. nothing but contention among the
memb. to drive out, and nobody was rec. until long aft. N. had been
adm. freem. 2 May 1638. But he is aft. found at Yarmouth where he
had Joseph, b. Dec. 1647; and Elizabeth m. Oct. 1649, Robert Eldred.
WILLIAM, Eastham, m. 22 Jan. 1691, Mary Snow, had Mercy, b. 17
Mar. 1692; and Nicholas, 19 Mar. 1694. Perhaps the spell. was Neck.
NICKISON, JOHN, Salisbury 1650, prob. only a misprint for Dickinson.
NICHOLSON, ROBERT, Scarborough, had Robert, and John. His inv.
is of 1 July 1676.
NIGHTINGALE, BENJAMIN, Braintree 1689. JOSEPH, Braintree, perhaps
s. of William, by w. Hannah had Joseph, wh. d. young; and the
mo. d. 11 Oct. 1718, aged 26; and the f. d. 1726, aged 48. WILLIAM,
Braintree 1689, or earlier, d. 10 May 1714, aged a. 77. WILLIAM, jun.
Braintree, s. perhaps of the preced. was freem. 1690.
NILES, BENJAMIN, Block Isl. 1684, was s. of John, and I kn. no more.
INCREASE, Braintree, s. of John, was a soldier of Johnson's comp.
Dec. 1675. m. 4 Dec. 1677, Mary Purchas, had John, b. 10 Oct. 1678;
Increase, 9 Mar. 1680; Ebenezer; and Mary; and d. 1 Sept. 1693.

ch. Hannah, b. 16 Feb. 1637; John, 4 Mar. 1639; Joseph, 15 Aug.
1640; Nathaniel, 16 Aug. 1642; Samuel, 12 May 1644; Increase, 16
Dec. 1646; Benjamin, 11 Mar. 1651; and his w. d. 15 May 1654.
He went to Block isl. perhaps, but bef. rem. by w. Hannah, had, prob.
Isaac, b. 2 Apr. 1658. It is not cert. that he went to Block. isl. as that
John wh. liv. there may have been the s. of this, wh. d. at Braintree, 8
Feb. 1694, aged a. 91 yrs. and his wid. d. 31 Jan. 1703. JONATHAN,
