of the ch. He d. bef. 1641, and his wid. m. Robert Parker, and had
John, bapt. 27 Mar. 1642, yet the town rec. does not ment. his time
BULGAR, RICHARD, Boston, came, prob. in the fleet with Winthrop
freem. 18 May 1631, had John, bapt. 20 Apr. 1634; was of the party of
Mrs. Hutchinson, and of so much conseq. at Roxbury as to be diarm.
went first to R. I. in 1638 with Coddington, but next yr. to Exeter. He
was a bricklayer. Belkn. I. 20. I believe he went back to R. I. and there
was 71 yrs. old in 1679.
BULFINCH, JOHN, Salem 1640, freem. 18 May 1642. Ann, adm. of
the ch. 1641, perhaps was his w. He rem. from S. aft. 1644, but whither is
not kn. Of this name seven had been gr. at H. C. in 1822, but all of a
BULLFLOWER. See Bellflower.
BULKLEY, EDWARD, Concord, eldest s. of Rev. Peter, b. in Eng.
bapt. at Odell 17 June 1614, came to our country bef. his f. being adm.
of Boston ch. 22 Mar. 16345, freem. 6 May foll. and adm. also in Plymouth
jurisdict. 5 June 1644, was min. of Marshfield, ord. 1643, until
1658, and the next yr. succeed. his f.; preach. the elect. sermon, 1680;
d. at Chelmsford 2 Jan. 1696, but was bur. at Concord. His w. is unkn.
but he had ch. Sarah, b. 12 June 1640; Peter, at C. 3 Nov. 1641; Elizabeth
wh. m. 7 Dec. 1665, Rev. Joseph Emerson, next, capt. John Brown of
Reading; and John, wh. d. young at M. beside Jane, wh. m. 20 Mar.
1684, Ephriam Flint. ELIEZER, Wethersfield, br. of the preced. liv. in
1659, when the will of his f. provides well for him, d. prob. in no long
time after, as he is never ment. as freem. or otherwise. GERSHOM,
New London, br. of thee preced. m. at Concord 24 or 26 Oct. 1659, Sarah,
d. of Presid. Chauncy, wh. d. 3 June 1699, had Peter, b. 7 Nov. 1660;
after some yrs. preach, at N. L. rem. to Wethersfield, there install. and
preach. 1666-77, when he was dism. at his own req. for feeble health,
was rep. 1679 for W. and practis. as a surgeon, hav. in such capac. serv.
in sev. exped. dur. Philip's war; was a great politician in support of
Andros, and d. 2 Dec. 1713; hav. made his will 26 May 1712. Beside
ds. Catharine, wh. m. Richard treat, and d. bef. her f.; and Dorothy,
wh. m. Thomas Treat, he had Edward, b. 1672; John, 1679, H. C.
1699, first min. of Colchester; and Charles, wh. in fam. memo. is call.

came in the ship with his f. freem. 18 May 1642, went to his nat. ld. and
