at Haverhill, 29 Aug. 1708. He was rep. 1683 and 92, and d. 6 Jan.
1699, and his wid. d. 7 Jan. 1732, aged 83. Timothy, his a H. C. 1695,
was oft. rep. from 1717, speaker 1720 and 1, of the counc. 1727-30, d.
25 Oct. 1760,.the last surv. of his c]ass; had two ws. Bethia Kitchen, m.
May 1714, d. 20 June 1720; and Mary, wh. d. 8 Feb. 1767, aged
80 yrs. From him, thro. his gr.mo. the late lieut.-gov. Winthrop derived
his mid. name.

    LINDON or LYNDON, AUGUSTINE, Boston, mariner, 1652, by w. Jane
had Samuel, prob. b. Mar. 1653, and both mo. and ch. d. that same mo.;
his w. Elizabeth d. at Charlestown, 29 June 1657, and he m. third w. Dec.
1658, Phebe, wid. of William Franklin, was freem. 1660, and an ironmonger
in 1672 at B. JOHN, New Haven, prob. a workman at the
ironworks, d. 1667; no w. or ch. is heard of, and his inv. was £13 only.

    LINDSAY or LINSEY, CHRISTOPHER, Lynn 1630 perhaps, d.
11 Apr. 1669, and his wid. Margaret d. 30 Dec. foll. leav. d. Naomi,
wh. m. 22 July 1670, Thomas Maule; and s. John, and Eleazer.
DANIEL, came Apr. 1637 in the employm. of Samuel Dix, from the city
of Norwich, but I kn. no more of his master or him. ELEAZER, Lynn,
s. of Christopher, m. Aug. 1668, Sarah, d. of Hugh Alley, had Sarah, b.
12 May 1669; Eleazer, 25 Mar. 1671; Mary, 22 July 1673, perhaps d.
young; John, Aug. 1675; Abigail, 10 Nov. 1677; Mary, again, 10
Mar. 1680; and Ralph, 15 Dec. 1684, was freem. 1691. JOHN, Lynn,
br. of the preced. m. 6 June 1667, Mary, d. of Hugh Alley, had John,
b. 15 Feb. 1668; Samuel, May 1669 ; Eleazer, 19 Feb. 1671 ; Nathaniel,
16 Apr. 1672; Sarah, 2 Mar. 1675; Mary, 28 Nov. 1677; Margaret,
25 Feb. 1680; and Benoni, 2 Jan. 1681, d. in few days, as did
the mo. on the day of his b. and in July 1682, he m. Amy Richardson;
was freem. 1690. Descend. contin. at Lynn.

of Ralph, a propr. 1685. By w. Ann hr had posthum. s. Benjamin,
and d. 26 July 1689. GABRIEL, freem. of Conn. 1656, most prob. d.
or rem. soon. HENRY, New Haven, s. of John of Badby, 2 ms. from
Daventry, 13 from Northampton, Co. Northampton, had John, b. 1656,
d. young, it is thot.; Joanna, b. 20, bapt. 24 Oct. 1658; Samuel, 16 Jan.
bapt. 4 Mar. 1660; and Hopestill, 6, bapt. 10 Nov. 1661; and he d. 13 Jan.
1663, leav. wid. Eliz. wh. m. 6 Nov. foll. Thomas Lamson, and next, 29
Mar. 1667, John Morris. JOHN, Isle of Shoals, wh. d. a. 1675, I think
was a fisherman, for his excors. were of Dartmouth, in Devonsh. JOSEPH,
New Haven, br. of Benjamin, a propr. 1685. RALPH, New Haven,
prob. not, as Porter writes, br. of Henry, may have had Samuel, Apr.
1649, the freem. 1670; Ralph, b. 18 July 1652; and certain. John, Nov.
1655; Joseph, 1657; and Benjamin, Dec. 1659; the three last B. bapt. 1661;
perhaps other ch.; was freem. bef. 1669, and d. 3 Sept. 1689. He and the
four s. are in the list of proprs. 1685, spell. Loines, but in the rec. of b.
