within two yrs.; Deborah, 26 Apr. 1684; Sarah, 3 Nov. 1686; Elizabeth 18
Apr. 1690; Joseph, again, 16 Feb. 1692; Mary, 3 Sept. 1693; Tristram,
9 June 1695; John, again, 10 Dec. 1696; and Stephen, 9 Oct.
1699; was ens. and d. 29 Jan. 1723. JOSEPH, Woburn, freem.
1676, perhaps s. of first Joseph, wh. m. 4 Apr. 1699, Martha Lilly, in
his will of 16 Jan. 1733 names w. Martha, and ds. Martha, Ruth, Rebecca,
Hannah, Mary, and Dorothy. MAUTLYN, or MACKLIN, Boston
1643, had w. Dorothy. MICHAEL, Woburn, m. 20 Oct. 1657, Mary
Bullard, had Mary, b. 14 Oct. 1658; Jonathan, 23 Mar. 1662; Joshua,
20 Jan. 1665; Lydia, 29 Sept. 1674; and he had been adm. freem. 1654.
PHILIP, Charlestown, had w. Margery, ch. Jonathan, Philip, Rebecca,
Elizabeth and Mary; wh. at his d. were of the ages respective. a. 26, 23, 17,
13, and 11; but he had rem. long, bef. to Topsfield, or near it, and d.
Nov. 1668. Perhaps Mary m. 5 June 1677, Daniel Ross. PHILIP,
Wenham 1669, s. of the preced. was of Salem 1670. RICHARD,
Newbury, prob. younger br. of the first John, came with him from
Southampton in the James, 1635, call. in the custom-ho. rec. tailor
of Romsey, in Hants, m. says Coffin, Agnes Coffley, wh. d. 29 Mar.
1679, had Rebecca, b. 7 Mar. 1643; Sarah, 23 Mar. 1648; Ann; and
Eliz. He was sw. freem. 25 May 1636, was deac. and d. 4 Aug. 1683, in
81st yr. RICHARD, Weymouth 1637, ment. by Winthrop II. 348, may be
he wh. was rec. an inhab. of Boston early in 1642, a slater, being adm.
of the ch. a few days bef. and, perhaps, s. of a wid. Sarah, adm. in May
1639; freem. 18 May 1642, by w. Dinah bad Samuel, b. 9 Jan. bapt.
12 Feb. 1643, and bur. 25 Sept. foll.; Joseph, 16, bapt. 18 May 1615;
and by w. Joanna had Joanna, b. 24 Jan. 1653; James, 1 Feb. 1665;
but it may be very diffic. to disting. him from others of the name.
RICHARD, Hampton, perhaps Portsmouth, 1643, was, perhaps, of Dover
1659, or bef. 1668, of Boston, a merch. RICHARD, Boston, by w.
Joanna had James, wh. d. 27 Sept. 1662; Sarah, b. 6 Nov. 1656; and
Mary, 25 Jan. 1659. RICHARD, Newport 1648, next yr. chos. Gen.
Sergent, whatever that may mean, and many yrs. bot. Id. of Ind. on the
contin. 1665 in conjunct. with Henry Hall of Westerly. He had eldest
s. John of Norwich, as from law papers I learn; and this may imply,
