Jan. 1652, bapt. 4 days aft. not 2, as the rec. in Geneal. Reg. IX. 361,
has it; perhaps ano. d. wh. d. a few wks. aft. her mo.; was freem. of
that Col. 1657, and rem. to Hartford, made freem. of this Col. 1658, and
d. 1678, leav. good est. to wid. Margaret, and d. Sarah. His will, of 19
Jan. 1676, pro. 17 Oct. 1678, made br. John excor. and left to him his
est. if d. Sarah d. without issue, of wh. conting. we are uninform.
JOSEPH, Weymouth, by w. Elizabeth d. prob. of John Holbrook, had Joseph,
b. 8 June 1674, and prob. d. young, if, as Deane says, he rem. to Boston,
there had Joseph, b. 1678, and had est. at Scituate in 1670, but
Deane prob. was in error, for JOSEPH, Scituate, s. of the preced m.
1700, Hannah, d. prob. of John Curtis, had Joseph, b. 1701, John,
1703; Hannah, 1705; James, 1708; Elizabeth 1709; David 1712; Mary,
1713, d. soon; Ephraim, 1715, Mercy, 1718; Simeon, 1720; Elisha,
1722; and Mary, 1724; and he d. 23 May 1732, aged 58, says the
gr.stone. JOSHUA, Boston, m. 23 Feb. 1659, Elizabeth d. of Edward Porter,
had Thomas, b. 21 Apr. 1660; Elizabeth 23 Feb. 1662; Sarah, 20 Feb.
1664; Robert, 3 Dec. 1666; and Joseph, 14 Feb. 1672. PETER,
Charlestown 1658, s. of William, was, perhaps, of Rowley 1660. ROBERT,
Boston, butcher in 1643, had been of Charlestown, d. 13 Sept.
1661. His w. was Sarah; and d. Eliz. m. 20 June 1654, John Conney.
SAMUEL, Plymouth 1630 perhaps, but certain. in 1632, for the beginning
of next yr. he was taxed half as high as capt. Standish; in 1643
was of Duxbury, was sheriff of the Col. 1652, rep. 1653, and in his
89th yr. was liv. 1682. His d. Martha m. William Clark; ano. d. m.
Abraham Sampson. THOMAS, New Haven 1643, or earlier, had, in
1639, been at Guilford, d. 12 May 1658. His w. Margary, d. of
Nicholas Baker of Herts, d. 11 Feb. 1656, and his will, made 1 Aug.
1657, names eldest s. John; Joseph; Mary, w. of Roger Allen; Sarah,
w. of Robert Talmage; and Timothy, all brot. from Eng. THOMAS,
Hatfield, eldest surv. ch. of Timothy, was of age to take the o. of alleg.
8 Feb. 1679, m. Aug. 1685, Hannah, d. of John Coleman, had John, b.
at Hadley 28 Oct. 1686; Hannah, 2 Sept. 1689; Thomas, 26 Feb.
1693; Rebecca, 20 Apr. 1699; and Sarah, 9 July 1704. His w. d. 1
July 1722, and he d. 19 Jan. 1728. TIMOTHY, Hartford, youngest s. of
the first Thomas, b. in Eng. m. a. 1657, Rebecca, d. of Rev. Samuel
one, had Rebecca, b. 12 Mar. 1658, at New Haven, d. young; Samuel,
8 Feb. 1660, k. at Hadley, by a horse, at 8 yrs.; and Thomas, 1661;
rem. to Hadley 1663, there had Joseph, 27 Jan. 1664; Timothy, 1665;
John, 21 Aug. 1667; Samuel, again, 17 June 1669; Hope, 20 Nov.
1670; Ebenezer, 25 Oct. 1673; Daniel, 1676; Ephraim, 1682; and
Mary, 1684, wh. d. 1687; was freem. of Mass. 1678, a lieut. and man
of large influence, rep. 1690, 1, and 5, d. 13 Mar. 1699. His wid. d.
