    BADGER, GILES, Newbury 1635, m. Elizabeth d. of Edmund Greenleaf,
had John, b. 30 June 1643; and d. 10 July 1647. His will, of 29 June,
was pro. in Sept. and his wid. m. 16 Feb. foll. Richard Brown. JOHN,
Newbury, s. of the preced. by w. Elizabeth wh. d. 8 Apr. 1669, had John, b.
4 Apr. 1664, d. soon; John, again, 26 Apr. 1665; Sarah, 25 Jan. 1667;
and James, 19 Mar. 1669. For sec. w. he. m. 23 Feb. 1671, Hannah,
d. of Stephen Swett, had Stephen, 13 Dec. foll.; Hannah, 3 Dec. 1673;
Nathaniel, 16 Jan. 1676; Mary, 2 May 1678; Elizabeth 30 Apr. 1680;
Ruth, 10 Feb. 1683; a. s. 9 Mar. 1680, d. soon; Abigail, 29 June 1687;
and Lydia, 30 Apr. 1690. He d. 31 Mar. 1691, and his w. at near the
same date, both of smallpox. NATHANIEL, Newbury 1635, br. of Giles,
perhaps elder, had w. Hannah, but I can hear no more of him, nor of ano.
br. RICHARD. THOMAS, New Haven 1639, of wh. no good is told. In
1834 four gr. of this name had come from Yale, two from Harv. and two
from other N. E. coll.

    BADLAM, WILLIAM, Boston, by w. Joan had John, b. 8 Feb. 1687;
may be the same man that had, at Weymouth, by w. Mary, William, 20
Dec. 1693; and Mary, 14 July 1699.

    BADMAN, JOHN, Boston, by w. Sarah had Lydia, b. 26 Apr. 1656.
No more is kn.

    BAGG, JOHN, Springfield, m. 1659, Hannah, d. of Henry Burt of the
same, had ten Ch. of wh. few are report. as Daniel at Westfield; John, at
Springfield, d. 5 Sept. 1683; and Hannah, wh. m. 3 Feb. 1651, Nathaniel
Sikes
, and liv. to 13 May 1740.

    BAGLEY, JOHN, wh. had, I suppose, been one of Lyon Gardiner's men
at Saybrook in 1637, should be found at Watertown 1643, but Bond in his
all embracing vol. has not appoint. him a place there. One John, perhaps a s.
was a soldier, and James was ano. of Gallop's comp. to Quebec, 1690. ORLANDO,
Salisbury, m. 6 Mar. 1654, Sarah, d. of Anthony Colby, had Orlando, b. at
Boston, 18 Feb. 1659; and perhaps other ch. ORLANDO, Amesbury, S. prob.
of the preced. took o. of fidel. 20 Dec. 1677, freem. 1690, m. 22 Dec. 1681, Sarah
Sargent, perhaps d. of William of the same, had Sarah, b. 27 Feb. 1683; John,
21 Jan. 1685; Jacob, 13 Dec. 1687, and Orlando, next day; and Judith,
13 Nov. 1690. SAMUEL, Weymouth, by w. Mary had Samuel, b. 7 Sept.
1658; and perhaps more. SAMUEL, Weymouth, s. of the preced. m.
Mary, d. of Shadrach Thayer, of Braintree, had James, bapt. 8 July
1688; Sarah, 17 May 1696; Abigail, 1 Oct. 1699; and Mary, 5 July 1702.

    BAGNALL, WALTER, Searborough 1628, at Richmond's Isle, had gr.
deal. with the Ind. of the neighb. wh. for some imprud. or perhaps worse
treat. after some yrs. k. him. See Winthrop I. 62; Willis, I. 15 and 21,
and Southgate 10.
