when in 1684 she obt. divorce from him. JOHN, Hampton, m. 26 Nov.
1686, Mary Downs. JOHN, Windsor, s. perhaps of Nathaniel of the
same, m. 1688, Sarah Fiske of Wenham, had John, b. 1692; and no
more is seen of him. JOSEPH, Cambridge, elder br. of George,
came in the Defence, 1635, aged 27. They were of Earl's Colne in
Essex, and there had enjoy. the spiritual guidance of Shepard, wh.
came in the same wh. freem. 3 Mar. 1636, rep. 1636-40, ar. co. 1640,
had w. Elizabeth and ch. Joseph, b. 27 Dec. 1643; Elizabeth 16 Mar. or Aug.
1645; Mary, 30 Jan. 1647; Grace, 9 Dec. 1648, d. soon; Grace, again,
1 May 1630; and Ruth; all bapt. at C. I think it not unlikely, that after
admin. on his br.'s est. he went home. JOSEPH, Cambridge, s. of the preced.,
H. C. 1660 or 61, remarkab. as it seems that so early in the exist. of the coll.
ea. yr. should be entit. to one of this name, perhaps it may seem that the
other was s. of Richard. But it is more strange that of neither is the
date of death mark. in our catal. although both were gone in 1698. He
m. 4 Dec. 1665, Martha, d. of John Stedman, had John, bapt. 26 Jan.
1668; and Joseph, a. 1671; beside Alice, prob. youngest ch. wh. m. a.
1694, Rev. John Whiting, and next, 19 May 1701, Rev. Timothy
Stevens and bore childr. to both. JOSEPH, Wells, sw. alleg. 1680.
JOSEPH, Portsmouth, R. I. perhaps s. of John of the same, was rep.
1704. JOSIAH, Plymouth, m. 16 Sept. 1635, Elizabeth wid. of Stephen
Deane
, d. of wid. Mary King, adm. freem. 1637, rem. with Gov. Prence
to Eastham, had Josiah, and Ann, wh. m. 18 Jan. 1655, Mark Snow,
and d. 7 July 1656; Bethia, wh. m. 4 Apr. 1660, Joseph Harding; and
d. 17 Oct. 1673; and his wid. d. a. 1687. JOSIAH, Eastham, perhaps s.
of the preced. m. 27 July 1668, Deborah Hopkins, had Elizabeth b. 12 Oct.
1669, d. in 6 mos.; Josiah, 12 Nov. 1670; Richard, 1 Sept. 1672;
Elizabeth again, June 1674; Caleb, 15 Nov. 1676; Deborah, 13 Feb. 1679;
Joshua, 4 Feb. 1683; and Benjamin, 28 Apr. 1687. JOSIAH, Windsor,
youngest ch. of Nathaniel of the same, by w. Ruth had Josiah, b. 1690;
Ruth, 1692; and William, 1695. His w. d. 1697, and he m. 1703,
Sarah, but, perhaps, had no more ch. MOSES, Westfield, s. of first
Aaron, m. 25 Nov. 1669, Elizabeth d. of Hon. Daniel Clark, had Elizabeth b. 23
Aug. 1673, and Moses, 17 Apr. 1675. He was k. in Philip's war 1676.
The wid. m. 13 Sept. 1677, lieut. Job Drake; and the d. Elizabeth m. 1693,
Benjamin Griswold. NATHANIEL, Windsor, m. 29 June 1649, Lydia,
d. of Richard Vore, had Sarah, b. 28 June 1650; Lydia, 9 Jan. 1653;
Hannah, 21 Sept. 1655; Nathaniel, 13 May 1658; Abigail, 1 Mar.
1660; John, 3 Aug. 1662; and Josiah, 22 Dec. 1664. He was adm.
freem. of Conn. 1650, and d. 19 May 1688. The wid. d. 14 June
1698. Sarah m. 30 June 1670, Samuel Baker; Lydia d. unm. bef.
