m. 17 July 1673, Charles James, as Babson, 73, teaches. JOHN,
Boston, br. of Edward, ar. co. 1644, had, beside eldest s. John, by w.
Susanna, Thomas, bapt. 5 Apr. 1646, 7 mos. old, and at same time, Susanna,
a. 3 yrs. and 12 days old; and Elizabeth 16 Apr. 1648, a. 8 days old;
was a shoemaker, and d. 29 Mar. 1670. In 1640 he had gr. of lot at
Braintree for 3 heads. His d. Susanna m. 25 Mar. 1662, Thomas Walker.
JOHN, Boston, shoemaker, s. of the preced. rem; 1663, with w. to
Middletown, thence, soon to Saybrook, thence, in 1668, to Branford,
where he unit. in form. the ch. that yr.; was propound. for freem. Oct.
1669, and by Hinman is nam. dept. in Oct. 1672, wh. is a mistake,
thence, 1671, to Guilford, where he d. 1704. By first w. wh. d. 1668,
he had John, b. 1665, and Robert, 1667. His sec. w. was Mary, wid.
of Henry Kingsnoth, m. 2 June 1669, had Mary; and he m. 6 Mar.
1700, third w. Dorcas, wid. of John Taintor, d. of Samuel Swain. JOHN,
Lynn, perhaps s. of Henry, mariner, by w. Abigail had Marg. b. 26 Nov.
1656, d. at 3 mos.; John, 17 Dec. 1657, d. soon; Samuel, 19 May 1659;
Abigail, 23 Mar. 1661; John, again, 10 Sept. 1662; Joseph, 6 June 1664;
Elizabeth 8 Apr. 1666; Benjamin, 19 Sept. 1667; Mary, again, 20 Feb. 1670;
Daniel, 3 Mar. 1671, Nathaniel, 1 Apr. 1672; Hannah, 26 Apr. 1674; Sarah,
28 Dec. 1675, d. within 6 mos.; Lois, 12 May 1677; Alce, or Alice, 30
Apr. 1678; and William, 28 June 1679, wh. d. soon. When the f. d. 22
Dec. foll. the wid. and Twelve surv. ch. had a comforta. est. to div. His
d. Abigail had m. 18 July 1678, Andrew Townsend. JOHN, Cambridge,
s. of deac. Edward, b. in Eng. after study. at Cambridge, went to Edinburgh,
was chaplain to Monk, bef. he mov. into Eng. for the restorat. of Charles II.;
afterwards a min. at E. and last in London, where he d. 3 Dec. 1687.
In Hutch. Coll. are preserv. four very valua. letters from him to Gov.
Leverett. JOHN, Gloucester, s. of John of the same, b. prob. in Eng.
by w. Mehitable, d. of Edward Giles, m. 9 Mar. preced. had John, b. 12
Dec. 1659, a. soon; John, 1662; Ezekiel, 23 Feb. 1665; Ebenezer, 5 Feb. 1667;
Samuel, 3 Apr. 1671, d. soon; Amos, 14 Apr. 1672; and Benjamin, 24 Jan.
1675. He rem. to Salem, there had Hannah, 4 Aug. 1676; and d. Sept. 1677.
His w. was d. of Edward Giles of Salem. JOHN, New London 1680-3.
JOHN, Salisbury, s. of Benjamin of the same, by w. Elizabeth had Jonathan, b.
11 Oct. 1695; and a d. Oct. 1697. JOSEPH, Lynn, perhaps s. of first
