EDMUND, Lynn 1636, rem. next yr. to Sandwich. EDMUND, Gloucester
1650, was town clk. 1656-65, by w. Agnes had Abigail; John;
and Joseph, b. 16 Nov. 1650; and d. 26 Feb. 1667. His wid. m. 15
June 1668, Thomas Penny. Abigail m. William Sargent, and d. 8
Mar. 1711, aged 79. EDWARD,[1] Haverhill 1646, perhaps m. a d. of
Walter Tibbets of Gloucester, wh. calls him s.-in-law, names John
and Joseph, prob. s. was a carpenter, and may have been in 1652 of
Kennebunk, made freem. of Mass. 1653, and prob. in 1663 rem. to
New Hampsh. But the true bapt. name, as by Hist. Coll. of Essex Inst.
I. 9, is prov. was Edmund, the same person as the preced. Ano. EDWARD
of Haverhill, perhaps s. of the preced. took o. of alleg. 28 Nov. 1677.
EPHRAIM, Medfield, freem. 1673. GEORGE, Plymouth, m. 22 Jan.
1639, Alice Martin, wh. after his d. m. 5 Dec. 1644, Richard Bishop, and
in 1648, was hang. for murder of Martha, d. of George, wh. was not his
only ch. for in May 1649, the rec. shows provis. for his d. Abigail.
GEORGE, Milford 1639, husbandman, had only s. John (excor. of his
f.'s will, wh. d. 1693, unm.), and six ds. and d. 1690, leav. good est.
in his will of 25 Apr. prob. 20 June of that yr. nam. d. Sarah, then wid.
of the famous capt. Joseph Sill, but had first been wid. of Reynold Martin,
as also five ch. of her by Marvin. Other ds. were Hannah. wh. m. John
Platt of Norwalk
; Abigail m. Rev. Abraham Pierson; Ruth m. Robert Plumb;
Rebecca m. John Brown; and Mary m. Samuel Clark. Their f. own. est. in
Eng. had brs. there, John, Daniel and Edward. GEORGE, Milford, a contempo.
of the preced. was call. carpenter for distinct. and this is all I kn. of him. GEORGE,
Milford, was deac. often rep. 1668 to 76, had Thomas, George, Samuel, and Sarah,
wh. m. Jonathan Law. GEORGE, Roxbury, was a fellmonger, inhab. of Boston
bef. 1695, d. 3 Sept. 1696, leav. good est. giv. by his will, pro. 15 Oct. foll.
to w. Ann, eldest s. George, to youngest d. Elizabeth £200, eldest d. Mary,
in Eng. £40, s. Richard, d. Martha, w. of William Hannah, £60, and
made her h. excor. But when, or where these ch. w ere b. or wh. was
his w. are unkn. matters. Yet perhaps the Boston rec. ment. him as m.
3 Feb. 1690, Ann Lutterell. HENRY, Windsor 1640, rep. 1641-50;
Assist. 1650-61, rem. to Hadley, there d. 23 Dec. 1675. His w. Jane
had d. 1672, and as he had no ch. he gave most of his est. to relat. but
good proport. to public use, as sch. at H. and to Harv. coll. HENRY,
Newbury, s. of Nathaniel, m. 7 Nov. 1695, Elizabeth d. of Stephen Greenleaf,
had Stephen, b. 21 Feb. 1697; Henry, 21 Nov. 1698; Judith, 15
Aug. 1700; and Sarah, 7 May 1702. HUGH, Watertown 1640, by w.
Elizabeth had John, b. 13 Oct. 1641; Uriah, 5 June 1644; and Elizabeth 31 Jan.
1648; own. est. in Cambridge, but rem. to Roxbury 1657; was freem.
1660, ar. co. 1666. His w. d. 11 Dec. 1692; and he d. 20 July foll. a.
80 yrs. old. Elizabeth m. Joseph Buckminster. ISAAC, Falmouth, s. of
Thaddeus, was tak. by the Fr. and Ind. 1690, carr. to Canada, after
return rem. to Marlborough, m. Sarah Stow, perhaps d. of Samuel, had
Martha, wh. d. at Grafton, 1794, aged, it is said, near 100; Sarah, b. 5
Aug. 1701; Mary, 31 Dec. 1705; Matthias; Jonathan, d. young;
Isaac, 25 Mar. 1709; Jonathan, again, 1712; Rebecca, 30 Sept. 1716.
His w. d. 17 May 1761, in 88th yr. and he d. 26 May 1768, perhaps at
