June 1735. NATHANIEL. Wethersfield, br. of Joseph, of wh. no more is
told. NICHOLAS, Dorchester, came from Eastwell, in Co. Kent, it is
said, with w. Joyce, three ch. of wh. one was John (possib. bapt. 22
Sept. 1645), and five serv. 1636, as by rec. of custom ho. at Sandwich,
Eng. is pro. freem. 14 Mar. 1639; rem. 1651 to Martha's Vineyard,
where descend. are yet. His d. Lydia m. 19 May 1646, John Minot
of D. PETER, Boston, m. Mary, d. of William Alford, by whose will we
learn, that he had Peter, Hannah, Samuel, and Mary, wh. was b. 21
Jan. 1655; but dates of his m. of b. of each of the other ch. and of his
own d. are not seen. His wid. m. Hezekiah Usher, as third w. and brot.
her ch. Samuel, Hannah, and Mary B. to be bapt. at O. S. ch 14 Mar.
1675. This renders it prob. that her s. Peter had been bapt. in the
lifetime of his f. or was too big a youth to be then offer. A third h.

was a capt. m. Elizabeth d. of Abraham Brown, freem. 1690, and d.
19 Aug. 1699, leav. Peter; John; Elizabeth; Mary, b. 21 Feb. 1694;
Hezekiah, 10 June 1695; and Alford, 3 Feb. 1699. Rec. is found of
earlier ch. Mary, 26 Sept. 1686; and Samuel, 26 Mar. 1690; but they
prob. d. young. The wid. m. 8 Jan. 1713, Ephriam Savage, as fourth w.
RICHARD, Cambridge 1632, freem. 14 May 1634, rem. to Hartford
bef. 1643, was rep. 1656-60, a deac. and d. 6 Aug. 1684. By first w. he
had Thomas, Samuel, and Nathaniel; by sec. w. Elizabeth had Joseph;
Daniel; Mary, wh. m. 29 Sept. 1659, Samuel Wright; Elizabeth wh. m. an
Olmstead; and Hannah, wh. m. a Green. His wid. d. 11 Sept. 1691.
RICHARD, Stratford 1650, d. 1676, had two ds. Mary, wh. m. 7 June
1655, John Washburn, and next, Thomas Hicks of Hempstead, L. I. and
Phebe, wh. m. Benjamin Peak, wh. sometimes wrote his name Peat.
SAMUEL, Wethersfield, s. of Richard, was deac. had, in Haddam,
Samuel, b. 26 Nov. 1665; and Elizabeth 20 Aug. 1667; and of him I can tell no
more, but that his d. Mary m. 21 Jan. 1692, Ebenezer Hopkins of Hartford.
STEPHEN, Boston 1652, by w. Jane had Benjamin, b. 2 Aug.
1653, d. young; Benjamin, again, 10 Feb. 1659; Isaac, 9 Oct. 1661, d.
soon; Isaac, again, 29 May 1664, d. young; James, 2 Aug. 1665;
Isaac, again, 10 Aug. 1667; and by sec. w. Mary had william, 10 Oct.
1671. THOMAS, Lynn, rem. 1637, to Sandwich, but had stop. some
time at Duxbury, had at S. Patience, b. 28 Sept. 1648; Dorothy, 23
Jan. 1651; perhaps more, but was, again, of Duxbury 1657. THOMAS,
Hartford, s. of Richard, m. Sarah, d. of Rev. Samuel Stone, had, beside
eight or nine ds. s. Thomas, Samuel, Joseph, and John. THOMAS, New
