1628; Mary, the next, d. 10 Apr. 1646, had made a will, certain. after
m. of her sis. Abigail, prob. few days bef. her d. yet it was set aside, as
of one under age; prob. b. on our side of the water were Joseph;
Joshua, a. 1642; Caleb; and Abel. His will is abstr. in Geneal. Reg.
III. 177, and the wid. d. 20 May 1687, aged 87. Abigail m. a. 1641,
Joshua Stubbs of W. JOHN, Watertown, eldest s. of the preced. prob.
came with his f. by w. Lydia, d. of William Allen, as Bond thinks, had
John, b. 10 Sept. 1651; Lydia, 3 Apr. 1653; Abigail, 14 July 1655;
Mary, 2 Aug. 1658; Daniel, 12 Sept. 1660; Ann, 4 Aug. 1662; Sarah,
1663; and Abel, 20 May 1668. He was freem. 1668, and d. 22 Dec.
1706, aged 86; and his wid. d. 1709. Lydia m. Thomas Batt of Boston;
and Sarah m. 30 Mar. 1687, William Hagar. JOHN, Watertown, eldest
s. of the preced. by w. Mehitable had John, b. 15 Apr. 1699; and, perhaps
bef. him, Lydia, for she was bapt. 10 Sept. of that same yr. as Bond,
p. 27, tells; but I see reason to think he was of Boston and had by the
same w. John, b. 4 Sept. 1679; and Sarah, 8 May 1686; and prob.
rem. to W. and he d. 18 Nov. 1708. JOSEPH, Barnstable, s. of the first
John, m. 10 June 1661, Jemima, d. of Thomas Lambert, or Lombard,
sold est. at Cambridge 30 Oct. 1686, that came to him, his deed says,
from f. John dec. and by this means we kn. of his descent. He liv. some
yrs. at Yarmouth, where from the imperfect rec. we find sev. ch. but not
all, nor in all cases the dates of those nam. Abigail; Joseph; Hannah,
Feb. 1668; Mary, Apr. 1670; Mercy, 12 Mar. 1674; and Elizabeth 14
Jan. 1680; He rem. to New London, d. 1704, leav. wid. Sarah, and ch.
Joseph, aged 30; John, 22; "Abigail, Jemima, Sarah, Kezia, Mary, and
Mercy, all a. 20," says the admirab. accurate and precise pro. docum.
JOSHUA, Charlestown, br. of the preced. d. 6 May 1684, aged 42, leav.
wid. Thankful, but no issue. RICHARD, Watertown, perhaps br. of the
first John,

Ann, b. 1 Sept. 1643, rem. to Southold, L. I. 1663, or earlier, and was
adm. freem. of Conn. 1664. SAMUEL, Watertown, s. of the first John,
b. in Eng. by w. Mary had Mary, b. 12 May 1660, beside Samuel, John,
and Abigail, all earlier, but next yr. rem. to Hartford, made his will 18
Sept. 1669, "a little bef. he d." Some imperf. accos. of Samuel, and
John, his s. are furnished by Hinman.

    BENMORE, CHARLES, Boston, by w. Elizabeth had Lydia, b. 27 Feb. 1677;
Stephen, 25 May 1678; and Martha, 4 Aug. 1686. PHILIP, Dover, m.
28 Sept. 1669, Rebecca, wid. of Thomas Nock, to wh. in his will of 20
May 1676, pro. 27 June foll. he had giv. all his est.

    BENNETT, AMBROSE, Boston, m. 15 Apr. 1653, Mary Simons, had John,
b. 19 Feb. 1654; Ambrose, 21 Mar. 1656; and perhaps he rem. ANTHONY,
Gloucester, rem. aft. 1671 from Beverly, by w. Abigail wh. d. 26 Oct. 1733.
