Hannah Birchard, prob. d. of Thomas, had John, b. 5 Dec. 1654; Hannah,
6 Oct. 1656, and Thomas, 1662; but he had rem. 1662 to Norwich.
JOHN, Stonington 1671, rem. to New London, there m. 24 July 1672, sec.
w. Rebecca, wid. of Elisha Cheesebrough, had Rebecca, b. 20 May 1673;
Mary, 24 Feb. 1675; Sylvester, 4 Mar. 1677; Sarah, 1680; and Jane,
bapt. Oct. 1681; and d. 19 Aug. 1683. From giv. a ch. the name Sylvester;
Miss Caulkins infers, that the f. was s. of the s. of him of the same
name wh. d. 1638 on his voyage to our shore. JOHN, the passeng. in the
Speedwell to Boston from London, 1656, aged 21, with Mary, 20 (perhaps
his sis. more prob. his w.), may not be certain. determin. among so
many of this name. JOHN, Salem, m. Sept. 1664, Arabella, d. of John
Norman, had Hannah, b. 15 Oct. 1667; and John, 26 Nov. 1668; and d. Nov.
1673. JOHN, Billerica, may have been petitnr. in 1603 for gr. of Chelmsford,
m. 15 May 1655, Mary Richardson, prob. eldest d. of Thomas of Woburn, had
sev. ch. of wh. the first, Mary, b. 28 July 1659, d. four days after, was
freem. 1670, and d. 25 Dec. 1687, leav. s. John, Jonathan, and Thomas;
ds. Susanna, Phebe, and Mary, whose descend. are very num. in all that
region. JOHN, Hadley 1671. JOHN, Milford, eldest s. of Nathaniel of
the same, m. 19 Nov. 1663, Hannah, d. of Richard Osborn, had one s. b.
1666, and perhaps soon rem. to Newark. JOHN, Milford, eldest s. of
John the first, of the same, m. 30 Oct. 1663, Hannah, d. of Obadiah
Bruen, sis. of the sec. w. of his f. had one s. b. 1665; ano. nam. Richard,
1666; rem. to Newark, where,it is said, are descend. JOHN, Guilford,
s. of John of the same, m. 1680, Experience Abell, rem. to Lebanon,
there d. 1705, leav. wid. one s. John, and four ds. JONATHAN, Northampton
1668, prob. s. of Joseph, was of Milford 1674. JOSEPH, Milford
1639, by w. Hannah had Joseph, b. 1640; Benjamin, 1642; Hannah,
1644; Mary, 1645; all bapt. at once; Elizabeth 1646; Martha, 1647; Jonathan,
1649; David, 1651; and Sarah, 1653; rem. a. 1663, to Hadley,
there was freem. 1666; m. for sec. w. Isabel Northam, wid. of James,
wh. had come with her s. John, as wid. Catlin, from Newark, N. J. For
third w. he took Elizabeth wid. of William Warriner of Springfield, and d. 2
Nov. 1684. His wid. d. 25 Apr. 1696; by a will in 1680 he dispos. of
est. judiciously, thus, ld. in Hadley to childr. of his eldest s. Joseph, then
d. ld. in Milford to Benjamin, Jonathan, and David; personal prop. to his
eldest d. Hannah, w. of Jeremiah Hull of New Haven, to Mary, w. of John
Catlin of Arthur Kill, N. J. to Elizabeth w. of James Warriner of Springfield,
to John, and Hannah Hawkes, ch. of John of Hatfield, in right of their
mo. Martha, dec. and to Sarah, w. of Samuel Bartlett of Northampton,
