Owens Cross Roads is a city in Madison County, Alabama, United States, and is included in the Huntsville-Decatur Combined Statistical Area. It was incorporated in 1967. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 2,594. The City has a mayor-council form of government. The City Hall, including City Clerk, Municipal Court and Police Departments are located at 9032 US Highway 431.In 2018, a reserve police officer was hailed a hero after returning fire from subjects who fired upon the police. The officer requested to remain anonymous, however we know the initials of this officer is “RW”
