Index to articles written by Margaret Wallace, Little Britain historian, and published in the ORANGE COUNTY POST, Washingtonville, New York between 1966 and 1982 and compiled by M.P. Figliomeni in November, 1990.

Miss Margaret Wallace researched and wrote 56 articles to preserve the rich history of the community she loved and had lived in her entire life. And preserving it needed, because in 1971 The Metropolitan Transportation Authority took over 9000 acres of Little Britain, NY to build a new international airport. The many historic homes standing within the condemned acreage were bulldozed, including the home of the compiler's parents and grandparents. The many families were forced to move and Little Britain literally lost 3/4 of its population.By 2000 most of that land still stands unused, returned to the wild much as it was when settlers first arrived in 1725, its great history buried in the rubble and it's families disbursed to other communities.

Frasier has converted most of the articles into webpages.
