* These are known errors. Stephen's will was dated 10 June 1652 and his inventory was taken on 24 July 1652. Ursula married her fourth husband in 1673. The rest of the dates comport with known information about Ursula's life, children, and siblings.

Background

As reprinted in the NEHGR, the story is that the author Milford Streeter advertised for the bible listed in the estate record of Stephen Streeter, taken in 1652. A Mr. John Hayes Goodwin wrote that he had found in a second-hand bookstore a bible printed at Edinburgh in 1693 that had some Streeter records. Mr. Goodwin sent the author a copy of the records in the bible in 1930. Mr. Griffin did not buy the bible, and was not able to find it again at the secondhand shop.

Usage Tips

Streeter contributed his manuscript to the Family History Center. See here for film details.
