Usage notes

A typical record spans a single line across two facing pages. Both facing pages have the same page number; e.g. "113" appearing in the upper left hand corner of the left page, and the upper right hand corner of the facing left page.

The columns, from left to right, for a typical record are:

• No. <-- integer, order in ad hoc sections with written descriptions; series can cross pages
• Name in full
• Sex: M, F <-- checkboxes
• Date of death: Year, Month, Day <-- alphanumeric input
• Condition: Mar'd, Sing., Wid. <-- checkboxes
• Age: Year(s), Month(s), Day(s) <-- number input as a count
• Place of death
• Place of birth

• Name of parents (When infant without name): Father's Name, Mother's Maiden Name
