I have been given, what I believe to be very dependable information and am trying to locate additional sources to verify.

Chief Attakullakulla's son, Dragging Canoe's daughter? The information I have is her name was Mary Canoe, born about 1755. She married a man nearly 50 years her senior, James Blevins. I have 5 children of Chief Dragging Canoe and his wife, Leaf. They are: Mary Canoe, Young Dragging Canoe, Little Owl Canoe, Sarah Canoe and Turtle At Home Canoe.

Please help with any information you may have regarding this very important information. If I can verify this, with certainty, Chief Attakullakulla would be my 7th Great Grandfather.
