Editions

The first edition of this work (1874) has the title beginning "The Original Lists" followed by "of Persons of Quality" and a long subtitle describing all the other types of persons who emigrated to the American colonies between 1600 and 1700. A second edition of this work from 1880 has the main title "Our Early Emigrant Ancestors" followed by "The original lists..." as a subtitle. That title now redirects here.

Publishers

The work was published in London (1874) by Chatto and Windus. It was simultaneously published in New York by J. W. Bouton.

Reprints

Several reprints of this work exist. The 1874 edition was reprinted in 1931 by G. A. Baker (New York), and from 1962 onward by Genealogical Pub. Co. of Baltimore, MD. The re-titled 1880 edition was also reprinted by Genealogical Pub. Co. in 1968.
