Family history and genealogical information about the ancestors and descendants of Amos Morris Collins who was born ca. 1788 in Litchfield, Connecticut. He was a descendant of Edward Collins who immigrated to America from England sometime prior to the year 1638 and settled in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Amos married Mary Lyman 30 April 1811 in Goshen, Connecticut. They lived in Blandford, Massachusetts (ca. 1811-ca. 1818) and settled in Hartford, Connecticut ca. 1819. Amos and Mary were the parents of eight children. Descendants lived in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Missouri and elsewhere.Includes information on the Bulkeley, Ketcham, Page and Rowley families.
