There are also groups on topics from Revolutionary War descendants to Irish ancestors. Photos can be posted by users.

There are links to scans of numerous historic maps, links to images of the census in 1790 to 1850 on the Internet Archive, with a location-specific navigation tool (so you can navigate easily to the records of a particular town). The search function for various vital records databases is also very good.
