The Hershey Community Archives' mission is to preserve, organize, describe, make available and interpret documents which promote the study and understanding of Milton and Catherine Hershey, their vision and legacy.
While not required, appointments are recommended to ensure archivist availability and to permit staff time to pull requested records. Appointments can be made by contacting the Archives, 717-533-1777, in advance of your arrival.
Every effort is made to maintain convenient hours for patrons, but we reserve the right to close for brief periods when a staff presence cannot be maintained. Researchers visiting from a distance should make arrangements ahead of time.
The Archives is located in the first level of the historic M.S. Hershey Consolidated School, located in the heart of Hershey on East Granada Avenue. The Consolidated School Building is the first large red brick building on the right side of East Granada Avenue. Parking is available in front of the building. The Archives’ entrance is located on the right hand side of the building (side facing Cocoa Avenue). An ADA entrance is located in the rear of the building. A car is necessary to reach the Archives.
