According to the Amana Heritage Society website, the Society is "dedicated to preserving Amana's past and cultural heritage for the community and its descendants." The site contains searchable database of cemetery records covering more than 3000 people and burials in seven Amana cemeteries. Also included are a brief history the Amana faith, a history of the city of Amana, a calendar of events, and newsletters.

The museum houses a collection of artifacts spanning from the 1700's in Germany to the present in the United States related to members of the The Community of True Inspiration. The museum also houses a Library & Archives division containing photographic and documentary records.
