This indenture made this fourteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen between Henry Willis and Mary his wife of the county of Pulaski and state of Kentucky of the one part and Henry Moore of the county and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Henry Willis and Mary his wife for and in consideration of the sun of forty-five dollars.
They do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do hereby grant bargain and sell and convey unto the said Henry Moore a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the aforesaid county of Pulaski and on the waters of Clifty Creek a branch of Fishing Creek containing by survey sixteen acres be the same more or less and bound as follows:
Beginning on a Hornbeam tree thence S 151/1 degrees W 84 poles to pointers thence N 36 degrees W 40 poles to a Beach thence North 5 degrees E 52 poles to a Buckeye thence S 81 1/5 degrees E 40 to the beginning. To have and to hold the said track or parcel of land with all and singular pertaining unto the said Henry Moore his heirs, and forever against the claims of them the said Henry Willis and Mary his wife. Their heirs do forever and against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons claiming by through or under them unto the said Henry Moore his heir and forever will warrant and forever defend by theses present . In testimony whereof the said Henry Willis and Mary his wife have here unto set their hands and affirm their seals this day and year above written.
