Wyncote (pronounced "WIN-coat") is a census-designated place (CDP) in Cheltenham Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 3,044 at the 2010 census. Wyncote forms a border with the City of Philadelphia along Cheltenham Avenue, and it is about 7 miles from Center City Philadelphia. Wyncote is part of the Delaware Valley and is a close-in suburb of Philadelphia.
