Wootton Rivers is a small village and civil parish in the Vale of Pewsey in Wiltshire, England. The village is about 3 miles (5 km) northeast of Pewsey and 4 miles (6 km) south of Marlborough. The parish includes the hamlet of Cuckoo's Knob. The population of the parish peaked at 470 in 1841, and has remained below 300 since 1921.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Wootton Rivers from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"WOOTTON-RIVERS, a parish in Pewsey [registration] district, Wilts; on the Kennet and Avon canal and on the Mid-Wilts railway, 3 miles ENE of Pewsey [railway] station. It has a post-office under Marlborough. Acres: 1,179. Real property: £2,021. Population: 444. Houses: 93. There are an iron foundry and an agricultural implement factory. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Salisbury. Value: £379. Patrons: St. John's College, Cambridge, and Brasenose College, Oxford. The church is good; and there are a national school, and charities £15."
