Winterton is a small town in North Lincolnshire, England, north-east of Scunthorpe. Taking into account the five years since the last UK census, the population currently stands at approximately 4,700 people. Major north-south/east-west streets of Winterton are Market Street and Northlands Road. Winterton is near to the banks of the Humber and is south-west of the Humber Bridge which can be seen from many parts of the town.
