White Center is a census-designated place (CDP) in King County, Washington, United States. It lies between Seattle and Burien part of which was annexed by Burien on 1 April 2010. The population was 13,495 at the 2010 census.
White Center is often referred to with the nickname "Rat City" which may either be due to a proponderence of rats at some point in history or the presence of a military Relocation and Training Center during World War II. The Rat City Rollergirls are a Seattle roller derby team that began training in White Center.
