Westbourne Rural District was created in 1894 following the Local Government Act 1894. It was a local government administration designed to cover the needs of a number of rural parishes west of the town of Chichester, Sussex.
The rural district was abolished in 1933 and all parishes were transferred to Chichester Rural District.
