Wellington Rural District Rural District was located west of Taunton in Somerset, England, from 1894 to 1974. It was created under the Local Government Act 1894.

In 1974 it was abolished under the Local Government Act 1972 when it became part of the non-metropolitan Taunton Deane District. Taunton Deane District merged with West Somerset District in 2019 to become the Somerset West and Taunton District.
