Located just off FM 2573, midway between Bagwell and Detroit, on land originally owned by Frank Coffman. The earliest burial is that of Charles Ward, young son of Leonard & Malvina Ward, who died in Aug 1855. There are now only fifteen marked graves, though there are also known to be seven slave burials, probably in a collective grave. No new burials have taken place for forty years and the grounds, in a wooded area, are not well kept up. [edit] Resources |
