Upton Noble is a village and civil parish on the River Frome 3 miles north east of Bruton, and 7 miles from Frome, in the Mendip district of Somerset, England.
[edit] Historic Descriptions[edit] 1822 - Somersetshire Delineated by Christopher and John GreenwoodUPTON-NOBLE — a parish in the hundred of Bruton,4 miles N.N.E. from Bruton; containing 62 inhabited houses, and 69 families, 53 of whom are employed in agriculture. The church is a small structure, consisting of a nave, chancel, south aisle and porch, over which is a tower containing two bells. The living is a rectory, in the deanery of Cary, united with Batcombe. Population, 1801, 223 — 1811, 219 — 1821, 285. [edit] 1929 - Somerset by George Woosung Wade & Joseph Henry WadeUpton Noble, a parish 2½ m. S.W. of Witham Friary.
